HIDDEN TREASURE

No need to hurry,

Life flows in its time and at its pace.

No need to pretend control,

Life happens according to the purposes, set up by whatever the Almighty has traced for us

Although we are in perpetual construction of our own reality,

It does not mean that we will reach the enchanted island and we will discover the so well hidden treasure – only because we followed the map, only because we walked the route in advance.

What we may not realize is the finitude of the trip,

The smell of the sea along the way,

The scrambled clouds in the vastness of the sky.

What we may not realize is the hidden affection in the eyes of those who go along with us,

The freshness of the spring, which indicates significant changes in ourselves.

That the purpose of all is not to find the hidden treasure, but to go along the path as we try to find it.

How we will pass through this path,

Either confident or incredulous,

Either light or heavy,

Either sad or happy,

Either hurting or protecting ourselves with too many shells,

It is what remains.

The treasure, finally, may be never found, but the intention underlying this search is valid, for this can move the human spirit.

As we move in this endless search,

Either anxious or balanced,

Either with love or emptiness inside our hearts,

Either desperate or hopeful,

It is what counts. The final note is not the purpose of it, but the unconscious learning process in it.

So, why is so worth it, then, to hurry ourselves?

Life will follow its pace and there will never be enough. The treasure will always be there, in the enchanted island, to be found.

  1. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and
it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off
topic but I had to tell someone!
